Why Estate

Clears broadleaf weeds, leaves your lawn standing

A professional, selective herbicide that targets bindii, white clover and a long list of other broadleaf weeds, while the grass around them keeps growing.

  • Three actives (MCPA, clopyralid and diflufenican) for broad-spectrum control
  • Selective, so it kills the weeds and not the lawn
  • Listed safe on Buffalo, Kikuyu, Couch and Zoysia
  • Low application rate and a non-ester formula that lowers the risk of drift
How to use

Spray it in three steps

1
Mix

Mix at 50ml per 100m² into water in your sprayer.

2
Spray

Spray evenly across the weeds and the area while they are actively growing. Pick a rain-free window.

3
Wait, then repeat

Give it time to work, and follow up per the label if any weeds remain.

Questions

Good to know

What weeds does it kill?+
A wide range of broadleaf weeds, including bindii and white clover. The three actives give it broad-spectrum control.
Will it kill my lawn?+
No. Estate is selective, so it targets the broadleaf weeds and leaves the grass standing. It is listed safe on Buffalo, Kikuyu, Couch and Zoysia. Always check the label for your grass type, and spot-test a small area first if you are unsure.
Does it work on grassy weeds?+
No. Estate is for broadleaf weeds. It will not control grassy weeds like nutgrass or winter grass. For those you need a different product.
What rate do I use?+
50ml per 100m², mixed into water in your sprayer. It is a low rate, so a bottle goes a long way. Spray when the weeds are actively growing, in a rain-free window.
How long until I see results?+
Most people see the weeds start to curl and die back within a few days, and it keeps working from there. Tougher weeds can need a follow-up spray per the label.
What about feeding the lawn afterwards?+
A good idea. As the weeds die back, a feed helps the lawn thicken up and fill the gaps. The Pure Lawn Tips Mix covers the colour, nutrition and strength side once the weeds are gone.
