An economical, vigorous kikuyu that stands up to extreme wear and neglect. It greens up bright, repairs itself fast, and is ideal for big areas and busy backyards in full sun.
- Hard wearing and quick to repair from damage
- Vigorous grower that fills in and establishes fast
- Medium-coarse bright green leaf with strong colour
- Good disease resistance and reasonable cold tolerance
- Handles waterlogged soil and helps with erosion control
- Backed by a 10 year product warranty
From bare ground to lawn in three steps
Kill off the old grass and weeds, level the surface, and spread a layer of quality turf underlay or soil.
Lay it fresh on the day it arrives. Stagger the joints like brickwork, butt the rolls up tight, then roll or tamp it down.
Water deeply straight after laying, then keep it moist daily for the first 2 to 3 weeks while the roots take.

- Lay fresh on the day it is delivered
- Water daily for the first 2 to 3 weeks
- First mow once it has knitted down and stopped lifting
- Mow often and edge regularly, it spreads vigorously
Kikuyu is the most vigorous of these grasses, so expect more mowing. It will invade garden beds if edges are left unchecked.
