How to use

Feed in three steps

Good to know

When should I use Proliferate?+
Autumn feeds from about March to May, at seeding time, and on top of freshly laid turf. The gentler nitrogen and extra phosphorus suit cooling soils and young roots.
How is it different from Dominate?+
Dominate is the higher-nitrogen 28-1-8 feed for spring and summer growth. Proliferate is 16-2-9, with less nitrogen and more phosphorus and potassium for root building in autumn and on new lawns.
How much do I use?+
1 to 3kg per 100m². Spread it with a spreader for even coverage, then water in.
Do I need to water it in?+
Yes. A good water straight after moves the granules off the leaf and starts them feeding the soil and roots.
Can I use it on new turf or seed?+
Yes. That is what it is built for. Apply on top of fresh turf or at seeding time and water in. The phosphorus helps roots get away.
What turf types does it suit?+
All of them, including Couch, Kikuyu, Buffalo and Zoysia. For fine or low-cut turf, Proliferate Mini has the smaller granule.
