A root drench in three steps
Mix 1.5 to 2.5mL per plant in 1 litre of water for most listed species, or 0.5 to 1.5mL for Mock Orange.
Remove any mulch and apply to the soil at the base of the plant in late winter to early spring, then water lightly.
Do not prune for 4 to 6 weeks after application, and do not retreat within 12 months.
